Minecraft EULA, The Waffloid Server, & You

So today’s the day. The day where us server owners must comply with the new rules and regulations of the Minecraft EULA. In this little post I’ll go over a few changes to the server that we are doing to comply with the new gross EULA.

  1. Donations are currently unavailable until further notice available, but as of right now they only give you the cosmetic prefix tag for the respected rank you buy. Hopefully our voucher plugin will be done within a week or so.
  2. If you donated before August 1st you keep all the old perks you got from your rank
  3. Those who have donated before August 1st will get a + at the end of their prefix to symbolize their pre-EULA benefits
  4. Those who donate after August 1st will not have the + tag at the end of their prefix (just like before the EULA garbage)
  5. We will be adding a command store where players can rent and buy premium commands such as /fly or /tpa
  6. Players who donate will soon get a cosmetic [$] prefix before their rank prefix to symbolize they are a donator. They will then be able to trade in that cosmetic [$] tag for in game money that just happens to be about how much that rank’s previous command perks cost (coincidence?)
  7. We will be adding more plugins and commands to the command store over the next few weeks to further enhance the player experience of non-donors
  8. Donorland will either be turned into a plotworld with decently large plots (1 free plot per player and you can buy extra plots with in game money) or be replaced with another survival world (possibly amplified). Leave comments about this below
